Sabil Ardie

My full name is Sabilillah Ardie, and I have several nicknames. I go by Sabil, Billy, or Ardie.

Born and raised in Bandung, a city surrounded by mountain, I had a hard time adjusting to the city I’m currently living in, Jakarta. The temperature and humidity of Jakarta is what I try to get away from every time I come home to Bandung.

I love technology, some would call me a tech freak. I’m also easily amazed by new things, especially things that can make my life simpler. I try to make the most of gadgets, the ones I can afford to have.

I’m a mac user; well, actually I’m a mac addict. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not a mac zealot. As far as I care, Apple is a for profit company, and they don’t pay me to defend them when their products are being criticized. Although I’ve been many times get caught advising people to switch to mac, I usually do that when they complain about how viruses, trojans, and malwares make their live harder.

I’m a graduate of Temple University of Philadelphia – A lovely city, I must say. I have a bachelor degree in Computer and Information Science, with minor in Business. For my master, I think I will switch gear and take Finance or Public Policy, I haven’t really decided. I won’t take a master in Information Technology because life has taken me to a different direction that what I had envisioned when I graduated high school.

I’ve had some other blogs in the past, but I put serious effort in none of them. I have never been a good writer, and for some reasons, writing a blog post felt like a chore to me. Yet, I’ve created this one. I’ve done so because I want to start sharing my life with people I care about, since I found it hard to regularly meet them in real life.

All in all, I hope some use can be found in this blog. For me, and for you.
